If you study, just a bit, you WILL give Striesand a serious run for her money! You have a fine wine in your voice Kari. I heard you on the AGT audition and you were simply stunning. You pushed your voice that night though. With strengh and practice, that won't be necessary. Let go of any insecurities Kari. Hi Kari, I should be in bed - work tomorrow - but just happened to look at some videos of AGT and stumbled on you/your website. You have a gift from God - I only hope that Streisand catches these videos and invites you to perform with her. Your performance of 'Rain on My Parade' was awesome and the two of you doing a duet would be fabulous! Keep up the singing - you are beautiful not just in God's eyes but in all of us who hear you and see you. You Go Girl!!!!!

Kari, your story and journey is certainly no less amazing that Kevin Skinners and the "winner takes all" approach in our American culture is simply wrong when applied to music and the arts. Unlike sports where usually, not always obviously, but usually the best performance wins, music and of course entertainment carrys many layers of "performance" as Kevin's win at AGT clearly shows. In entertainment people respond to the message, the interaction of the performer with the audience, and even the mood of the event or moment. A simple example of this is the difference to listening to a live audience performance CD vs a studio produced version of the same songs. There is an emotional level of the live performance that no studio can possibly duplicate. I just listened/viewed your performance of "Little Bird" on a You Tube clip and was moved by your voice and rendition (as is always the case, girl. Your voice is so powerful and rich) but also by the thought of you singing that song to

Kari, you have one of the most amazing voices that I have heard in years. I love the quality , richness and range of your voice. Don't worry about the looks. Look what they did with Clay Aitkin and like him when you have a voice like yours, nothing else matters. Like they say, you could sing the phone book and make it a hit.
