HI Kari, I was just turned on to your performance on YouTube by my housemate Oak Young, who happens to be a cousin of yours! I was blown away by your performance. Of course it was not "perfect" and no doubt you will practice and practice as you go forward. I wish you much success. And I hope Oak calls you! He seems shy, 'long lost relative' and all that. Kari, I saw you on AGT and then I found a video of you singing Don't Rain on My Parade at Changes Tavern. I bet you're going to sing that next on AGT and if you nail the "money note" like you did on the video, I think you'll be in the finals! I don't think you will be performing too much karaoke after this. Congratulations from another Seattleite!

Hi Kari Saw you last night on AGT and anyone who says you can't sing, doesn't have ears ! Having been in music myself for around 30 yrs , you sing circles around most singers. Pitch is perfect, tone is amazing , kadence is perfect! and timing is fantastic ! People rarely look on the inside :-} You go girl !!!, all the way to the top ! Cheers....R

I'm a tender, young, 60 year old. I've been involved in music as a performer, disk jockey, producer, and sound engineer (in addition to being employed in several other areas) for over 50 of them. My voice is still with me and I am definitely qualified to critique others. You're amazing and outstanding. I cried when I heard you on America's Got Talent. Not just your story, but your voice. My wife had to comment (thank God for the DVR) that she hoped you had a voice after hearing your story. We weren't disappointed. God bless you and NEVER give it up.

Hi Kari - I just watched the video from last nights show and you were totally awesome. I am a 46 year old woman from Massachusetts who has a cleft lip and palate. I also love to sing but fear going anywhere with it for the same reasons that you mentioned. I have dealt with the same issues that you identified in the prologue to your performance. It really is society's problem if they can't look beyond your face to the true inner beauty and talent. It is ironic that I am going to be attending a conference this upcoming week sponsored by Ameriface - a group for those individuals who havefacial differences.
